Morocco Imperial Cities Tour 10 days

This circuit tour is from the airport to the airport. You can enjoy four imperial cities, dunes, Gorge, ancient Roman ruins , every attractive place in Morocco.

DAY1 Airport(Casablanca or Marrakech) - hotel(Casablanca)

Welcome to Morocco! We will meet at the airport of Casablanca or Marrakech. If you arrive in Marrakech, we move to Casablanca today. Have a dinner at the traditional restaurant, and we escort you to the hotel.

DAY2 Casablanca - Rabat

We will visit the stunning Hassan 2 Mosque, which has the tallest minaret and the third largest mosque in the world - it can hold 25,000 worshippers at any one time. Then we move to Rabat of capital city. Visit Chellah which is ancient Roman ruins in Rabat.

DAY3 Rabat - Meknes - Volubilis - Fes

In the morning, we depart towards Fes. On the way to Fes, we stop at Meknes, also known as the Versailles of Morocco. Surrounded by fertile ground, coupled with its impressive buildings and history, we can see why Meknes is one of the four Imperial Cities of Morocco. Then, we take you to Volubilis which is ancient Roman ruins. At Volubilis, enjoy a guided tour. In the route to Fes, we pass by close of the holy town of Moulay Idriss Zerhoune. There are plenty of mosques, but be aware that only Muslims can enter to this town.

DAY4 Fes

Today, enjoy exploring Fes city. Fes is the oldest and largest medieval city in the world. Its medina is a heady mix of aromas, sounds and sights. By guided tour, explore medina which has many places to visit for example dye-pits, tanneries, and old beautiful Islamic school.

DAY5 Fes - Ifrane - Midelt

After breakfast, we head to Ifrane which is known as a beautiful alpine area in the Middle Atlas. Surrounded by huge pine and cedar trees, this tranquil mountain setting is a great spot to cool down and relax after the hustle and bustle of Fes. Enjoy walking in this area. Then we move to Midelt and stay at the night.

DAY6 Midelt - Merzouga

Today, depart towards the great desert Merzouga. Enjoy scenery of changing to the desert area from the mountain area. You will move into the dunes for watching beautiful sunset by camel. Enjoy local food, berber music and an amazing night under the stars. Sleep in nomad tents in the silent desert.

DAY7 Merzouga - Todra Gorge - Dades Gorge

Experience unforgettable beautiful sunrise in dunes, return to the hotel in Merzouga. After breakfast and shower, we head to Todra Gorge. This 300m gorge is hemmed in on all sides by vertical limestone cliffs, which is called Morocco's Grand Canyon. We continue our drive towards Dades gorge.

DAY8 Dades Gorge - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

After breakfast, we explore gorge from its plunging depths to dizzying heights. Then, we drive to see the amazing rock formation called the monkey toes.
Today, we head to Marrakech. We will leave Dades Gorge in the morning, then we stop at a UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Ben Haddou which is a spectacular fortified village called Ksour. We'll have lunch at the restaurant in front of Ait Ben Haddou. Our journey continue to Marrakech, via Tizi-n-Tichka Pass. During crossing High Atlus mountain, you will discover beautiful scenery... the small villages of mud, terraced field, the river with green valley etc....
Marrakech is the final one of Four Imperial cities we visit on this tour. We will arrive in Marrakech until night.

DAY9 Marrakech

Enjoy a guided city tour of Marrakech today, taking you through the winding streets, bustling souks, and the focal point of the city - the great Jamaa el Fna. Your journey will not complete without a visit to the city's UNESCO-listed medina and Jamaa el Fna, an extraordinary gathering and market place. We have optional activities to visit Jardin Majorelle, Jardin Menara, Hammam etc.

DAY10 Marrakech - Airport(Casablanca or Marrakech)

After breakfast, enjoy free time, then we take you to the airport of Marrakech or Casablanca.
